Tiranë / Brussels — Albania has formally opened a new negotiating cluster in its European Union accession process, marking another concrete step on the country's path toward membership.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs hailed the milestone as recognition of Albania's sustained reform efforts in the rule of law, justice and public administration.
"Each chapter we open is a chapter of Albania's European future being written today," the Ministry stated.

Tiranë — Foreign ministers from across the Western Balkans gathered in the Albanian capital to advance regional cooperation, connectivity and a shared European agenda.
Discussions focused on the Berlin Process, the Common Regional Market and joint responses to shared security and economic challenges.

Tiranë — The Ministry has launched an upgraded e-Consulate platform, enabling Albanian citizens abroad to access a growing range of consular services online.
The new system streamlines passport renewals, civil-status requests and document legalisations, reducing waiting times for the diaspora.
"Wherever an Albanian citizen lives, the State stands beside them — now a click away," the Ministry said.
